Birthdays!!

Even old people like me (haha) still love the idea of birthdays, though we frown deeply upon the wrinkles and gray hairs that accompany the passing of another year.  But for all those little one's out there birthdays are hugely important.  My niece has been telling me about the "Hello Kitty-Cat" birthday party that she wants for a month now... and her birthday is still a month out.  Other than Christmas birthdays may be the most important day of the year for kids.

If you are anything like Sarah and I you love the idea of a birthday theme.  Between my two girls and my niece we have had themes such as Princess, Minnie Mouse, Woodland Creatures, and Puppy Dogs and Kitty Cats.  And that's where Tweet Cheeks Boutique comes in.

Every little girl loves to sport a tutu.  And look at the cute little tutu outfits we have come up with here at Tweet Cheeks...

Steelers V Packers

The big game is just around the corner.  So, who are you rooting for?  Green and Gold or Gold and Black??

I just whipped-up a couple of cute little golden flowers with green or black centers.  An adorable way for your little girl to show her game day colors!  Hard core fan?  We could definitely kick it up a notch for you and make you a FAN-tastic tutu with matching bows.

And really, why stop there?  This is a big day... a day for body painting, jersey wearing, and all things football.  That means that us grown ups can wear football clippies, team color barrettes, and team spirit ribbons in our ponytails.

Boring Snow day + Internet = Online Shopping Time

Check out Tweet Cheeks facebook page and do some online shopping.  It's a great day to sit back with a cup of hot cocoa and your laptop.  We have lots of new hats in.  Plus I got a shipment of baby leg warmers today... they are so cute!! We've been working hard on new Valentines Day and St Patrick's Day bows too.

Pillowcase Dresses

Tweet Cheeks has something new up it's sleeve.. Pillowcase dresses.  These little dresses are adorable.  They are simple yet sweet and look great layered over a long sleeved shirt and leggings or in the summer as a simple sundress.  Pillowcase dresses have been around forever, but are making a comeback as a fun boutique item.

Right now we have two pillowcase dresses in stock.  They are Winnie The Pooh Christmas dresses.  Both are the same pattern.  Sizing on a pillowcase dress is fairly versatile due to the flowy nature and the adjustable ribbon neckline.  The two dresses we have in stock however, are approximately 12 mos and 2T.

Dollie and Me is a clothing line carried at Sears, Kohls, KMart, and Amazon.  The line consists of sportswear, pajamas, leggings, accessories, and of course lots of adorable little girls dresses.  Each item comes with a matching doll item that will fit your standard 18" doll (for example an American doll is 18").

Personally, I am in love with the dresses.  They are adorable! I know my 7 year old really wants one and apparently she's not the only one...  I was recently commissioned to make a set of matching bows for a little girl and her dollie's dresses.  How cute!
